Management Information Systems, the 7th Edition, was released in January 2014. This first edition of this textbook was published in 1998 by its original author, Dr. Effy Oz. Subsequently, he published five additional editions, including the last edition just prior to his passing in 2008.

I am honored to have been selected to review the successful textbook that Effy Oz created. Dr. Oz was an exceptional educator and author, and my first and primary acknowledgement is to him. It is my hope that my efforts will continue his legacy and his great work.
